- University foundation anniversary (October 10)
- President's Memorial Day (June 11)
- New Year holidays (December 29 - January 3)
- Other closed dates and changes in open hours will be notified each time.
BORROWING
When You borrow books, you need your student identification card or Staff identification card.
If you carry a book that has not been check out, an alarm sounds and the gate shuts automatically.
Undergraduates | Can borrow up to 5 books and 2 audiovisual materials for 7 days. |
---|---|
Postgraduates / Staffs | Can borrow up to 10 books and 5 audiovisual materials for 14 days. |
*Journals and Reference Books are for library use only.
ARRANGEMENT OF MATERIALS
Medical books are classified and arranged according to the National Library of Medicine Classification (NLMC).
Other books are classified and arranged according to the Nippon Decimal Classification (NDC).
Journals are arranged alphabetically.
HOW TO FINDING BOOKS AND JOURNALS
Books and journals in our library is possible to search by OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog).
And please see also electronic journals and electronic books.
RETURNING MATERIALS
Materials should be returned the Circulation Desk.
You can return books to Book Return Post when the library closed(Don't put journals and audiovisual materials into the post).
Please be careful not to forget to return materials on time.
Please don't return borrowed materials to the shelves.
RENEWAL
If you need to continue borrowing, you can extend the loan period of the book.
Please bring the book to the Circulation Desk or extend the loan period by yourselves online.
The loan may be repeated once consecutively.
PHOTOCOPY
You can photocopy materials as long as the copyright law permits such copying.
Please fill out the Application Form, and submit it to the Circulation Desk.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN
Materials not available at our library can often be borrowed or photocopied from other libraries.
The cost, copy fee and postage is paid by user.
Please submit the Application Form to Circulation Desk or order online.

FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students can enter the Library and read books and journals, but can't borrow.
You can borrow the card to enter the Library at Center for International Relations.
Please contact Center for International Relations.

- LOST AND FOUND : Missing articles may be collected to the Circulation Desk.
- SMOKING : is not permitted in the university.
- CELLULAR PHONE : Please turn off before entering the Library.
- BELONGINGS : Your valuables and belongings you must have placed in a locker, or carry.
If you have lost them in the library, we can not assume the responsibility.
